LVDI RVBRICATI MMXVI. THE DAILY LIFE OF THE ROMAN ARMIES IN PEACETIME

Our Museum will host, next 11th and 12th of June, a new edition of the “LVDI RVBRICATI” (MMXVI), the Roman festivity of Sant Boi de Llobregat that this year has, as unifying thread, the world of the “THE DAILY LIFE OF THE ROMAN ARMIES IN PEACETIME”.

The festivity will take place, as usual, at the different premises that the Museum has at the old city centre of Sant Boi: the gardens of Can Torrents, the garden and the courtyard of Can Barraquer, and the Roman baths area.

The aim of this proposal is communicate these spaces of the Museum of Sant Boi and show their values, opening them to any type of public in a ludic and festive way.

All the activities are outlined under the filosophy of and integral approach to the heritage of the Roman past, making the potential visitors enjoy the different aspects of the live of the people who worked, heard, smelled, ate and, in conclusion, lived in a territory transformed by history but that always has to be seen from the human perspective.
